Louis A. Kastelic has been professionally engaged in the merger and acquisition industry since 1975, during which time he has also owned and operated several businesses. He is currently the president of Jordan-Crandus, P.A., a consulting firm that represents sellers and buyers in the transfer of small to medium size businesses, performs business evaluations and assists clients in the enhancement of their companies. Watching business owners make the biggest financial decision, the dale of their business exit, without early planning and informed assistance, Kastelic moved Jordan-Crandus in the direction of business exit planning. The firm now devotes fifty percent of its practice to helping business owners maximize the investment they made in their company when they retire.
Prior to joining Jordan-Crandus, Kastelic was a sole practitioner in the merger and acquisition field and spent five years as the director of operations for a 38 unit restaurant company. He is a business and machinery and equipment appraiser and has appeared as an expert in business valuations in courts of the states of Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio.
Before entering the field of business consulting, Kastelic was a city administrator, commercial banker and State Superintendent of Banks for The State of Ohio. He was also a lecturer at The University of Toledo, Graduate School of Finance, The University of Iowa, School of Business and Loyola University of Maryland, Graduate School of Finance.
Undergraduate and graduate work in government, economics and finance were accomplished at John Carroll University and Bethany College.
